About Sacred Harp singing

Sacred Harp singing is a community musical and social event, emphasizing participation, not performance, where people sing songs from The Sacred Harp, an oblong tunebook first published in 1844.

The diverse community of Sacred Harp singers consists of people who enjoy the theological richness of its poetry, the unique qualities of its music, and the warm hospitality of its gatherings. We invite you to join us March for a day of singing and fellowship.
